The name of our project and event is called “Pre & Post” followed by a captive tagline “a message to my pre-digital self”. The overall concept of our art exhibition is to allow our guests to find a linkage between their childhood and present day self via the strong usage of digital media. It is an interesting opportunity for people to reflect on their lifestyle before they engaged with technology and how new forms of digitization has affected them today. Hence, the ‘pre’ refers to who they were before the digital realm and the ‘post’ refers to present self who is indulged with technology.

Our exhibition will consist of digital artworks and prints by various artists. An open call for submission will be launched to request works of art by professional and student artists across the Greater Toronto Area. Multimedia will be incorporated into our exhibition to achieve our mission and bring forward new art practices, concepts, and themes in the digital, contemporary, and modern art world.
